Journey Description
We invite you to join us on an extraordinary 12-day pilgrimage that begins in the spiritually significant Marian center of Fatima in Portugal and concludes at the revered shrine of St. James in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. We’ll be walking the Spiritual Variant of the Portuguese Camino, covering the final 130 kilometers. This journey, not only takes you through picturesque landscapes but also provides ample opportunities for self-reflection, spiritual recharging, and inner healing. As we stride side by side, you’ll find yourself bonding with fellow pilgrims, forging connections that often last a lifetime.
Our pilgrimage commences in Fatima, where we’ll spend two days immersed in its tranquil atmosphere, drawing inspiration from its rich religious history. Here, you’ll have the chance to soak in the grace of this sacred place and prepare yourself for the spiritual journey ahead. Next, we’ll visit the intriguing Templar town of Tomar, an historical gem rich with tales of the Knights Templar. This town serves as a fascinating portal to the past, allowing us to step back in time and learn more about its unique history.
Our journey then takes us across the border into Spain, where we cover seven distinct stages of the Camino. One of the highlights of our journey will be taking the boat to Padron, a town steeped in history and rich in spiritual significance. Each stage offers its own challenges and rewards, making our shared experiences all the more enriching.
Our pilgrimage culminates in two nights in the bustling city of Santiago. Here, amidst the lively atmosphere, we’ll celebrate the end of our journey, reflecting on the miles we’ve travelled together and the spiritual growth we’ve experienced. This journey promises to be a transformative experience that will leave you with lasting memories.
